Need to sign a form or document? You can sign a PDF online for free right in your browser — no app to install, and your file is never uploaded to a server.
Two ways to add your signature
- Draw: use your mouse or finger to draw your signature on screen.
- Upload: upload a photo or transparent PNG of your existing signature.
Steps to sign a PDF
- Open the Sign PDF tool and add your PDF.
- Draw your signature or upload a signature image.
- Click "Place on page", then drag it to the right spot and resize it.
- Review the placement, then choose "Review & Save PDF".
- This adds a visual signature only; it does not create a certificate-backed digital signature or verify identity.
Is it safe?
Yes. The signing happens entirely in your browser, so your document stays on your device. Nothing is sent to a server in normal use.
Tip for a clean signature
If you upload, a transparent PNG looks best because the background will not cover the document. A black signature on a transparent background is ideal.
