This Privacy Policy explains how UpyogiTools ("we", "us", "our", or the "Service") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and online tools. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in an open and transparent manner.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
Our image and PDF tools (cropping, resizing, watermarking, merging, image-to-PDF conversion, format conversion, QR generation, and caption formatting) are designed to run directly inside your web browser. In normal use, the images, documents, and text you process are not uploaded to or stored on our servers — they are processed locally on your own device.
When you save your work, the file downloads directly to your own device through your browser. Your files are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
The Private File Vault uses the browser's Web Crypto API to encrypt and decrypt files locally with AES-256-GCM. The password, derived key and file contents are not transmitted to us. We cannot recover a forgotten password or decrypt a damaged encrypted file.
Why ordinary editing files are not encrypted while open: an image or PDF must be readable in browser memory for cropping, rendering or conversion to work. Encrypting those working bytes would make processing impossible. Instead, UpyogiTools avoids server transfer, keeps work temporary, revokes temporary object URLs, clears password and file controls when the page is left, and provides Private File Vault for creating an encrypted copy when required.

This data is used in aggregate to keep the Service secure, diagnose problems, and understand general usage. It is not used to personally identify you.
The Contact & Secure Feedback page uses an essential session cookie for CSRF protection, a timed arithmetic challenge and submission rate limiting. The challenge runs on our server and does not use Google reCAPTCHA or any other third-party tracking CAPTCHA. The Social Caption Formatter stores a draft in local browser storage only when you actively enable “Remember this draft”. That draft remains on your device and can be removed by clearing the checkbox, pressing Clear, or clearing browser data. The current build does not include analytics or advertising tracking scripts.
UpyogiGuide processes typed requests locally using a built-in intent list. Assistant messages are not sent to an AI provider, are not stored by UpyogiTools and disappear when the page is refreshed or closed.

Because tool files are processed in your browser and saved to your own device, we do not retain copies of them. Standard hosting logs may be retained by the hosting provider only as needed for security and operation.
Feedback form details are delivered to our support email account and retained only as reasonably needed to respond, investigate a report, maintain an appropriate support record or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion using the contact details below, subject to any lawful retention requirement.
The “Clear Private Session” control reloads the workspace after clearing file inputs, password fields, canvases and tracked temporary object URLs. Closing the tab also releases browser memory; browser and operating-system behaviour remains outside our control.

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including serving the site over HTTPS. However, no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Donate feature is currently marked Coming Soon. We do not currently request or collect card, bank, UPI or other payment information.
The Service may be accessed from around the world. By using it, you understand that your information may be processed in the country where our servers or service providers are located, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.
